Peltier units transform the difference of heat to electricity. They Utilize Bismuth, an element that has Paramagnetic 170px-Bi-crystal Magnetocaloric properties. Put into simple terms it converts heat into DC Electricity and can charge a Battery. Quite a few people are testing it’s possibilities. Using every type of heat source from a tea candle to solar. The best part about these units is that they are Solid State and Have no moving parts. I would love to build a large array of these modules and sandwich them in between a piece of steel and a piece of aluminum heat sink to charge my Battery Bank. Here is a pic of crystallized bismuth the material that these units are made of.
